Brisbane Etsy Market, new bear, and HEAPS of new fur!

A lot has happened over the last fortnight! So much in fact that I haven't had a chance to stop and do a blogpost since mid November.

We attended the Brisbane Etsy market on Saturday. I was mostly anxious about getting into the city, parking our rather large ute in the underground, low clearance and quite tight carpark, and then finding my way to City Hall with bags full of bears in time to set up. But we did it, and the day was amazing.

The crowds to get into the hall snaked all the way around the building and it was taking customers an hour in line just to get inside! Our gorgeous little Pug found a new home, along with a heap of fur, kits, patterns and bits and bobs. It was so lovely to meet the hundreds of you who stopped to cuddle a bear and say hello as well.

This handsome bear was created by us in the days leading up to the show as a new kit-example bear. We called him Lachie, and you can order his kit (fully inclusive of fur, eyes, joints, pattern, nose thread and key charm) via our etsy store. Lachie himself is also available on our website.

In the midst of packing and making bear kits, we also received our newest shipment of faux fur. We managed to unpack 45 new pieces before the weekend - these are just a few of the awesome new colours we have in stock. Some of the pieces are limited editions, so act fast if you don't want to miss out.
