Aurora and Allura

These sweet bears were made recently as another custom order. The commissioning collector selected a piece of our hand-dyed viscose in colours she liked, (which we set aside for her for a few months while she waited for her spot to come up!), and then last week we were finally able to get her bears finished!

We used our 'Alivea' pattern reduced down to make two smaller bears - one 9" tall and one 11" tall. We gave both bears big orange embroidered noses and gorgeous orange monarch butterfly wings. I will admit that orange is one of the colours I tend to try and avoid, but I am LOVING it on these bears.

Both bears are now adopted, but we have just finished a new batch of our hand-dyed rainbow mohair/alpaca/viscose that we have added to our website. Our last batch was nearly 3 months ago, and with the way things have been with the bear orders lately, it's likely to be another 3 months before we get a chance to dye more - so if you'd like some OOAK rainbow mohair, it might be best to act fast!
