Emanuelle - our Christmas 2015 bear
This sweet ball of red-mohair-fluff is 'Emanuelle'. She is our Christmas bear for 2015. She has been adopted already, but I thought you guys might like to see some of her photos.
This mohair was divine, but sadly the only piece we had went into making this big girl.

Otto and Orson
These two big bear have both found new homes, but we thought we'd show off their photos anyways :) They have been made using a piece of grey/black tipped faux fur (we only have a fat 1/4m piece of this left if anyone would like to snap it up, just send us an email to sales@furaddiction.com), and our 'Jumbo' pattern.
Otto - the bigger brother - is made in the full size pattern, but Orson - the little brother - is made from the same pattern, just reduced to 60% before printing it out (with our PDF patterns, resizing them if you want to is so easy! Just change the percentage tab on the printer set up, and print away. As long as you keep your seam allowance the same over the whole bear, it'll work out beautifully).

Miss Behave
For the last week or so we've been working of a gorgeous set of four bears - all made using our largest available 'Jumbo' bear pattern. Made in full size this design will give you a bear between 30-33" tall. We decided to reduce it and make two smaller 18" tall bears as well.
This is the full group together. The cream girl with the pink nose is spoken for, but the other three will slowly make their appearances on the website over the next 24hrs or so. (or as I find the time to list them!).
This little lady is 'Miss Behave', and she is the first one listed for adoption. She's a gorgeous girl made using some of our new purple mongolian fur and some of our hand painted glass eyes (we currently have a new batch of over 70 different pairs available on the website too!).
Miss Behave is available for adoption right now - but she is a one of a kind, so I don't think she'll be available for long. :)

Dotty
Sweet Dotty has been made using our 10" Osias pattern, and some of our brand new, very pretty - but very unusual - pink tipped, black spotted faux fur! (we called it 'Candy Spot')
Dotty herself is sold, but we do have some kits available if you'd like to have a go at making one of these sweet bears. We've included some extra instructions to help you sculpt those tiny toes too.

Bruno
So... I decided to do make a BIG bear. Not just a 'big' bear actually - but a HUGE, OVER-THE-TOP, 'WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?' sized bear!
The photo above shows one of his foot pads. The size of a dinner plate. The photo below shows the dinner-plate sized foot pad on comparison to the rest of the bear. But this still doesn't really help to give you a true grasp of his size... so we took lots of photos of his creation process to help...
(Before stuffing)
(after stuffing, but before trimming and facial details)
(about to set some eyes. Using this monstrosity of a needle!)
Time for a nose. THIS was probably the most tedious aspect of the whole process I think. But I'm pretty happy with the resulting nose.
FINALLY FINISHED!
Meet 'Bruno'. He is a special un-jointed bed bear, designed to be a cuddly bed friend by night and a fantastic and impressive bed decoration by day. He would be approx 44" tall if he could stand. As it is, he takes up a space approx 32" x 32" x 32" sitting down - so because of this we are unable to ship or post him anywhere. Some couriers *might* take him interstate, but we've been quoted about $400-$500 for the privilege.
We can deliver him from the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast areas - or if you're local and would like to come and meet him that can also be arranged :) He is a ONE OF A KIND - we will not be making another bear this big again. And certainly not another one quite like Bruno.
