FAT PANDA!!! (pattern release!)

We have a brand new pattern to share with you all! Our gorgeous 'Fat Panda' design. This was a design that I drew up quite early in my bear making career - around 2001-2002 era. I didn't use it many times back then as finding suitable faux fur fabrics to do the design justice and give him a really FAT, fluffy look were hard to source. Things have changed now though and we have thousands of meters of gorgeous fabric at our disposal!!!

I've included photos of three different versions of this pattern that we have made over the last year, each in a different mix of colours and pile types. If you'd like to order your own custom kit, feel free to contact us (sales@furaddiction.com) and we can discuss the best fabrics in stock right now to use. The chubby fellow below is 'Toby Topaz, and he has been made using our 'Raven' and 'Scorch' super deluxe faux fur pieces. The Raven fur could also be paired with a number of other colours for just as gorgeous an effect. (Please note that the fur used on the other two example bears below has sold out).

Fantasia the rainbow cat

This sweet critter is one of our latest custom pieces. She has been named 'Fantasia' and she is made using our cat design that we created in 2014. (It has not yet been released, but is on the list for release as a PDF later this year once we've tested it further).

Fantasia is now sold, but I thought you guys might appreciate some of her photos :) Our original cat 'Baroness' can be found in our FurAddiction.com webstore.

eBear online show preview piece - Gemini

This sweet, big, bright bear is 'Gemini'. She is our preview piece for the eBear online bear show coming up in just over a week. The preview pieces for all of the artists are now available to view though if you'd like to check them out and vote for your favourite :)

Gemini is 22" tall, made from long pile faux fur and a hint of alpaca for her cheeks. She is hard to miss when you're in the same room as her!

Our very first Tiger-teddy

We had a custom request a few months ago to create a tiger/teddy bear. It was time to complete that order today - and so this is what we ended up with!

The order was to make the bear in the same chubby style as our 'Willa/Attila' design, and originally we had thought we'd use a short, plush faux fur. But when it came down to it - this mohair combo looked like it would work the best. 

He looked a bit lion-like at this stage, which was good because I knew I was on the right track. We just needed to get those stripes on there, and I was sure a little Tiger-teddy would emerge. 

And emerge he did! Meet 'Azai' - named by his commissioning collector. He has been adopted, and will be on his way to the UK first thing in the morning :) 

Treasure on eBay

This little honey bun of a bear is 'Treasure', and to allow more of our collectors a chance to adopt her we've decided to try her on eBay for 3 days. We figured 3 days would allow for the time zone delay and give everyone an equal chance.

Treasure is 16" tall, fully jointed and made from two stunning mohair fabrics. She has a pair of golden feather angel wings and is a one of a kind artist bear.
