Talulla

Meet 'Talulla'. Made from a piece of super long pile hand dyed mohair in a mix of unusual, earthy/brassy tones. Super hard to describe but I just love it! Talulla is currently available for adoption. She is a one of a kind artist bear though, so act quickly if you're interested :)

Torben

This little fellow is Torben - so named by his new mum :) He is made from our Lost Toys Collection design - this time in a longer pile fur. The longer fur really does help give him a very chubby, very cuddly appeal!

We do plan to release a kit for this little guy in time - but will need to restock the fur in our store first!

Parker

A little while ago we were asked to make a pale green bear for an upcoming first birthday. The birthday boy was sadly an angel though, and would never see this special milestone. I couldn't imagine the pain his parents would be going through, but I knew we could help out with a pale green teddy... and so little Parker bear was born. He has such a natural softness and gentleness to him that I hope he will offer some comfort.

Kaleidoscope

Check out this stunning ted. This girl has been waiting patiently to be finished for quite a few months now. She is made from some of our super long pile hand dyed mohair, and some of the last of our jet black curly kid mohair. She has already been adopted, but if you're interested in the design we used our 16" Lyric pattern to make her, using the 'panda' version of it. A similar look could be achieved by using a super long pile faux fur in mixed colours paired with a shorter black fur.

Owls

We were asked to make an owl for a custom order recently. We finally had a chance to get to work on one this week, but in typical Emma's Bears style I decided to make things trickier and make TWO! lol. Why not double the work load!?

This little guy here with the sparkling eyes is to the custom specifications that his collector wanted. And she has adopted him already :) The eyes have so much more depth then is shown in the photos too. He really is quite striking. He is our first owl to have the painted glass eyes.

The second Owl was an experiment using our newest faux fur fabrics with our Barn Owl pattern. We used our super long white 'Cloud Dancer' faux fur for his head and belly, and our 'Wolf' long multi-tipped brown faux fur for his wings and back. A piece of faux suede was used for his beak and feet and some LARGE black glass eyes to give him his owl-ish look.

We've called him 'Othello' and he is currently available for adoption. We also have the full kit for him available in our etsy store as well.

Ethan, the chubbiest little guy around

This chubby little bubby is 'Ethan'. He is made from a lovely piece of faux fur we've had sitting in our limited edition stash since we moved house last year. I had TOTALLY forgotten about it. But we pulled it out on the weekend, and this little guy was brought to life.

Ethan has found his new home already, but we do have a few pieces of his fur left for sale in our store. I think there are only small pieces left now though (fat 1/8m pieces). But that is all you need if you'd like to try making a bear like Ethan yourself. We used our 'Willa/Attila' bear and bunny pattern to make this chubby 9" dude, as well as a pair of our hand painted glass eyes.

Honey Jumble

Meet Honey Jumble. Just another gorgeous little bear to finish off this week. This bear has been made to replace our previously sold out 'Macaroon' bear kit (followers from a few years might remember it - pink and choc panda bear made in kid mohair? It was DIVINE, and we very quickly sold out of the kid mohair!).

So, because we haven't been able to replace the kid mohair, we decided to do a new version using the newest pink and choc mohair we did have in stock. And when I started work on this girl last fortnight we had heaps of mohair left too. Now, not so much! lol. So we're only able to offer three kits until our next shipment arrives.

Honey Jumble herself is available as well. She's a chunky 16" tall, fully jointed and very solid. Her little friend in the images below was made as a custom order and will be on her way to the UK. Isn't she sweet too!?
